2020 Land Rankings

As this is the first year there are no changes for ranks. *INS = Insufficient Data.

ABUR Duals have just been added to my cube in place of most manlands which is why they are in the INS section.

As Expected: Fetchlands top the list. They fit into more decks than any other type of dual land and they are the best cycle of lands for cube, even ahead of the original ABUR duals.

Pleasant Surprises: I was a little surprised to see Karakas so high on the list but it makes sense because it is getting better and better with each new set. As more legendary creatures get printed and eventually make their way into the cube this card only gets better. Whether you are bouncing your own creatures for value or keeping your opponents Emrakul off the board, Karakas gives so much value with almost no drawback for including it in your deck.

Disappointments: Rishadan Port is yet another of these old classics that just doesn't seem to be pulling it's weight anymore. It's a low priority pick and I think it is a little under valued by drafters and sits in a lot of sideboards. Blast Zone is sitting in the INS data section but not being able to hit tokens has been a bit of a deal breaker so far. Part of the reason it has INS data is nobody wants to play it.
